At Blessed Sacrament Catholic Primary School we are proud to be a Healthy School.

Change4Life’s new healthy eating campaign Sugar Smart 2016 has now launched. Focusing on the new sugar guidelines, it will provide families with the knowledge and tools they need to help them cut down on sugar.    

 

Change4Life Sugar Smart Initiative (Friday 15th January 2016)

Further resources, including recipes and ideas for healthy swaps, are available online to help parents take control of the sugar in their child’s diet. 

The Change4Life Sugar Smart app can be downloaded. It is designed to show quickly and easily how much sugar is in the food and drink you’re having.  Just scan the barcode and see how much sugar it contains.

You can also access some excellent recipes for you to try at home for all the family, such as:

 

  • Creamy banana porridge with mish-mash raspberries
